OAK
Oak is a traditional and one of the most used types of wood. Oak wood is distinguished by its special strength, strength, density, hardness and weight.
Oak wood is an excellent building and ornamental material: it is used for various underwater and land structures, for the construction of underwater and main parts of wooden ships and as barrel, carriage, engine, furniture, parquet and joiner’s timber. The material from ordinary oak is used for the manufacture of furniture, doors and interior items. Oak board is used in the manufacture of furniture, parquet, solid flooring, stairs, sliced veneer and various molded products. The wood of the tree contains tannins, which makes it extremely resistant to environmental influences. Oak is used when making products that are particularly durable and hard, which is why oak is very often used in joinery, in the manufacture of wooden tabletops, window sills, stairs, etc.
Our recommendations:
Investments in interior items made of oak are economically justified, since you get products for centuries, plus the aesthetic pleasure of a great texture. An unrivaled material for classic interiors. To save money, opt for spliced oak shields. If aesthetics is a priority, we recommend solid timber structures.
TYPES OF OAK
For the manufacture of wooden countertops, window sills, staircase parts, facade elements, furniture, finishing panels, I use furniture boards (natural wood lumber) – solid or spliced. Shields differ from each other only in appearance and cost, in terms of strength and durability, both materials are good and perfectly suited for the production of various solid wood products.
